Lost Wax Wellington (Created And Cast Bronze Ltd) was established in Wellington by Jonathan Campbell in 1992.

Jonathan has been working with bronze since completing his fine arts diploma at Whitireia in 1989.

The foundry specialises in lost wax bronze casting and conservation/restoration work.

We take the utmost care and pride ourselves on craftsmanship and the finish of our castings and restorations.

CONSERVATION

Over the last 33 years we have been conserving and restoring public, private and institutional sculptures.

Services include:

Conservation assessment and condition reports

Cleaning and general maintenance

Repairs and welding

De-ionised washing for outdoor sculptures, including stone, stainless steel, carbon etc.

Museum quality protective coatings

Rubber moulds

Patination

Polishing

Garnet and bead blasting

We have an annual maintenance plan in place with the Wellington City Council for their public bronze monuments.

We have an intimate knowledge of bronze sculpture from creation to patination. All work is done by us on site or in our foundry.
